All KompliTax payments are made via M-Pesa. We don't accept card payments — M-Pesa is what works for Kenyan businesses.
How to Upgrade
- Log in to your KompliTax dashboard
- Click Plans & Upgrade (from the top-right user menu or the sidebar)
- Select the plan you want — Business, Landlord, or Accountant Pro
- Choose monthly or annual billing
- Click Pay with M-Pesa
- Enter your M-Pesa phone number (the one registered for M-Pesa)
- You'll receive an M-Pesa STK Push on your phone — a payment prompt that asks you to enter your M-Pesa PIN to authorize the payment
- Enter your PIN and confirm
- Your account upgrades immediately — no waiting for manual confirmation
Payment Receipt
After successful payment, you'll receive:
- An M-Pesa confirmation SMS with the transaction code
- A KompliTax payment receipt email (if email notifications are enabled)
- Your payment history in Settings → Billing
Annual vs Monthly Billing
Annual plans are charged as a single M-Pesa payment at the start of the year. Monthly plans recur each month — you'll receive a reminder 3 days before the renewal date.
Payment Failures
If the STK Push doesn't arrive, check that your M-Pesa account has sufficient funds and that the phone number you entered is correct and active. You can retry the payment from the Plans page. If problems persist, email hello@komplitax.co.ke.
