How Do I Pay for KompliTax?

M-Pesa payment instructions for upgrading your KompliTax plan.

All KompliTax payments are made via M-Pesa. We don't accept card payments — M-Pesa is what works for Kenyan businesses.

How to Upgrade

  1. Log in to your KompliTax dashboard
  2. Click Plans & Upgrade (from the top-right user menu or the sidebar)
  3. Select the plan you want — Business, Landlord, or Accountant Pro
  4. Choose monthly or annual billing
  5. Click Pay with M-Pesa
  6. Enter your M-Pesa phone number (the one registered for M-Pesa)
  7. You'll receive an M-Pesa STK Push on your phone — a payment prompt that asks you to enter your M-Pesa PIN to authorize the payment
  8. Enter your PIN and confirm
  9. Your account upgrades immediately — no waiting for manual confirmation

Payment Receipt

After successful payment, you'll receive:

  • An M-Pesa confirmation SMS with the transaction code
  • A KompliTax payment receipt email (if email notifications are enabled)
  • Your payment history in Settings → Billing

Annual vs Monthly Billing

Annual plans are charged as a single M-Pesa payment at the start of the year. Monthly plans recur each month — you'll receive a reminder 3 days before the renewal date.

Payment Failures

If the STK Push doesn't arrive, check that your M-Pesa account has sufficient funds and that the phone number you entered is correct and active. You can retry the payment from the Plans page. If problems persist, email hello@komplitax.co.ke.
